Use GoodSearch when surfing the internet and raise money for Brendan’s Fund

A happy hour/fundraiser to kick off summer took place on Thursday May 1st from 6-8pm at the Urban Saloon, 2120 Fairmont Avenue in Philadelphia. Sixty participants enjoyed meeting new friends and catching up with old ones. The event gave new supporters a chance to learn about the Fund and our upcoming summer events.  A good time was had by all. A special thank you to Cat and Danielle who organized the “roundup” for the benefit of Brendan’s Fund.

The Brendan Borek High Tides Memorial Fund’s 18th Annual Spirit Walk took place on Sunday May 4, 2008 at 12 Noon. The 10K walk hosted by Wildwood Catholic High School, was once again a big success.  The beautiful day set the tone for a fun day that began at 11:00am.  Participants were treated to a luncheon donated by several area businesses after they returned to the school.  Thank you to all who came out to walk in the spirit of giving.

The 3rd Annual Bass Barn Golf Tournament benefiting Brendan’s Fund was held on April 25, 2008.  The event took place at the Avalon Country Club in Clermont.  Sixty golfers enjoyed a beautiful day of golfing for a great cause. After hitting the course golfers were treated to a buffet lunch.  Thanks to our generous business community close to 100 prizes were given away during the auction at the event. A special thank you to Steve and Lisa Sylvester for organizing such a great day.
