The 2nd Annual High Tides Striper Tournament for Brendan’s Fund took place on November 8 out of Hinch Marina in Cape May. A total of 80 boats participated and 41 fish weighed in. Anglers enjoyed a great day of fishing and then headed to the Cape May Marlin and Tuna Club for the awards dinner. The Carpenters Union Local 1743 did a tremendous job of garning support for the event from all over the country. Donations and shirt sales totaled more than $39,000. We are so grateful for the exceptional effort put forth by Andrew Bulakowski, Jeff Thiel and Agnes Thiel. Next year’s event will be held on November 6, 2009.
