Sunstone Massage Wellness will donate a portion of their proceeds to the Brendan Borek High Tides Memorial Fund.  Brendan’s Fund is a not-for-profit grassroots organization who provides support for Cape May Count families who have a child or young adult with cancer. Come in for a massage therapy appointment between July 11th-15th and help us contribute to this wonderful foundation.  ~We are personally inspired by our friend and pediatric cancer survivor, Lauren Mullholland.  She shared personally with me how this foundation helped her family during her many challenging years of treatment and recovery.  It was her inspiring story that prompted us to get more involved! (You may recognize Lauren’s name because she helps at our front desk during the summer!)

Once again, the Avalon Yacht Club has generously agreed to allow us to hold the 2011 Brendan Borek Local Artists and Friends Juried Art Show at the club. This year’s event will be held on Tuesday August 16, 2011 from 6 – 9 PM. Proceeds from the sale of the art work will benefit Brendan’s Fund. Anyone interested in showing their work may click on the “Registration Form” below.

The registration has been extended to August 1, 2011. Please fill it out send it back to us. All accepted and excluded artists will be notified on or before August 1, 2011. We are looking forward to another wonderful evening.

The Ice House in Wildwood, NJ is having a Wine Festival on June 18, 2011 from 6 – 10 PM and a Crab Festival on July 23, 2011 starting at 11 AM. The Ice House will be donating a portion of their proceeds from these events to Brendan’s Fund. For more information follow the links to the festivals.
