Saturday, August 20, 2011, the 21st Annual Brendan Borek Surf Memorial was held at 30th Street in Avalon, NJ. One of the largest amateur surf contests on the East Coast, The Brendan Borek attracts thousands of people and is always a special day.

This film was concepted, filmed and edited by David Todd McCarty in conjunction with Hopping Frog Studios on two Canon DSLRs. For more information, including the music selections, see the end credits.

This year’s art show was a evening filled with great art, pottery and sculpture. The Avalon Yacht Club once again was a beautiful setting to display the work of fifty-three artists.  Below are pictures from this year’s event.
