Throughout the year Brendan’s Fund holds fundraising events to support our programs to assist Cape May County families who have a child or young adult with cancer. The community continues to show a tremendous outpouring of support for these events. We truly appreciate the support we receive from all those who attend.

2011 Summer Events:

6th Annual Bass Barn Golf Tournament for Brendan’s Fund. April date TBA, check back for more details.

Monday, August 15:  Crabcake Day at Sylvester’s Fish Market & Restaurant (21st & 5th Ave), 11:00am-closing
Net proceeds from Crabcakes served benefit Brendan’s Fund

Tuesday, August 16: Artists & Friends Art Show 6-9pm at the Avalon Yacht Club. Brendan’s Fund receives 50% of all sales, cash bar & butlered hors d’oeuvres

Wednesday, August 17: Pizza @ Circle Pizza (2108 Dune Dr.), all day, net proceeds from pizza sales go to Brendan’s Fund

Thursday, August 18: Pancakes @ Fishin’ Pier Grille (32nd & the Boardwalk), all day, net proceeds benefit the Fund

Friday, August 19:  Method Skate Jam hosted by the Avalon Recreation Department, 10:30 am, 29th & the Boardwalk, Free entry skate contest and lots of giveaways

Movie Night, Friday August 19: Avalon Community Hall 7-9pm

Saturday, August 20th:  21st Annual Surf Contest, 6:00am-4:00pm, on-line pre-registration required, Circle of Friends Ceremony 12:00pm

Saturday, August 2oth: 21st Annual Homecoming Fiesta Party @ Community Hall 4 – 7 PM

Saturday, November 5th: The 5th Annual High Tides Striper Tournament, hosted by the Carpenter’s Local 1743.

Thanksgiving Day, November 24, 9th Annual Turkey Trot, Sponsered by Cape Fitness.
