July 31, 2012, Avalon Yacht Club, 7th & The Bay, Avalon, NJ, 6PM – 9 PM.

Once again the Avalon Yacht Club will be hosting the Brendan Borek Artist and Friends Art Show. Painters, Scultors, Photographers, Jewelers and Potters from the Tri-State area come together to sell their work to help raise money for Brendan’s Fund. It’s a beautiful evening with exceptional art, food, music and friends. Tickets may be purchased at the door, $15 per adult, $10 for young adults 12 years or older and babes in arms are free.

All artists interested in participating should download the attached application and send it to Brendan’s Fund by July 10, 2012. Artists will be notified on or before July 17, 2012.

This year the weather could not have been better, gnats aside. It was a beautiful day for a wonderful cause. Thank you to Lisa and Steve Sylvester for organizing a terrific event,as well as the Staff at the Avalon Golf Club, our Golfers and all of the Sponsors and Donors who helped us raise funds.

“SURFING WITH SPIRIT”

Brendan’s Fund in conjuction with The Travis Manion Foundation, will be hosting a group of wounded warriors who will participate in a demonstration surfing heat. Operation Amped has been working with wounded Vets since 2006, helping them to catch a wave again. This Exhibition event will enable them to “show their stuff.” We are all very excited about their participation.
